WEP stands for Water Efficiency Plan. It’s a state required planning document developed with extensive community input. It offers thoughtful strategic direction and recommendations, however, it does not create standards or regulations. Usual City channels, such as the City Council policy approval process, are required to establish standards or regulations recommended in a WEP.
