The City of Fort Collins supports the transparency and the solution-driven collaborations that can come from sharing data. As an organization, the City collects data in a wide variety of areas. By making this data publicly available, the City hopes to foster trust and to build engagement through creative problem-solving and storytelling through data. See the ever-expanding available data on the OpenData Portal.
FCx is a collaboration series with Code for Fort Collins where we'll dive into community-interest topics with "lightning talks" about what data are available and how the data are used to tell stories and solve problems. The talks will be followed by discussions about the topics and how else the data could be used (for example, could we use flood warning data to advise equity programs?).
Join us for our May 7 talks! We're still working on a theme, so please share your Ideas and/or vote in the Quick Poll below.
Please use and share this page for sharing ideas, requesting data sets, and staying up on the latest interesting stories involving open data! We'll use your feedback to steer future FCx events.
