City Park Tomorrow

For multiple generations, City Park has been a special place where a rich diversity of people gather, recreate, create memories and connect with nature and others in meaningful ways. As the park has aged, it has adapted to meet changes in community needs over time.

With two separate voter-approved and funded ballot initiatives, there are funds to bring back the City Park Train to City Park and to look at making other park improvements. Several concepts, master plans, and improvement ideas have been generated and shared with the community for feedback in 2016, 2018, and 2019. The City of Fort Collins is working towards having a recommended master plan and recommended project phasing to share with City Council and the community for input later this fall.

This site serves as a resource to the Fort Collins community to keep informed about City Park Tomorrow and to weigh in on its future.
