Dean Klingner

Dean Klingner has served as the Deputy Director, Planning, Development & Transportation for the City of Fort Collins since 2018. Dean spent the early years of his career in private sector engineering consulting. Subsequently, he spent 22 years serving Fort Collins in various other roles such as the Interim Director of Planning, Development, and Transportation, Interim Director of Transport and Parking Services, and Director of Civil Engineering. Dean has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE).
