Consultation has concluded

Thank you for your interest in the Foothills Drainage Basin. This page is dedicated to collecting feedback on proposed master plan updates. For background information, visit the Foothills Drainage Basin Webpage.(External link).

The City is in the process of updating the Selected Plan portion of the basin’s Stormwater Master Plan. The Selected Plan is an important step in the Master Planning Process(External link)(External link). It evaluates alternatives that address the flood risk identified in the basin update and develops a recommended plan of improvements. In addition to identifying solutions to reduce flood risk, the Selected Plan evaluates opportunities for water quality improvements, stream rehabilitation, habitat enhancement, open space preservation and recreation (e.g., parks, trail systems).

We want to hear from you:

  • Watch the virtual presentation and Q&A from the May 10 Public Meeting in English and Spanish then submit questions.External link)(External link)
  • Add a comment and/or submit a photo about observations you have made in the basin.
  • Contact Dan Evans | Stormwater Master Planning Engineer | daevans@fcgov.com | 970-416-2217

All feedback must be received by June 26, 2021, for consideration.
