2025-2026 Budget Launch

The City of Fort Collins has begun the development of the 2025-2026 Budget. The process begins with City Council adoption of the 2024 Strategic Plan with a work session scheduled in February and adoption in March). That document then guides the budgeting process for the programs and services provided to the Community.

The City of Fort Collins uses a priority-based process called Budgeting for Outcomes or BFO. These short videos provide an overview of that process. The video called 'Budget 101' is available in both Spanish and English. The other videos are available with Spanish subtitles.
