Rolland Moore Open House/Online Survey #1: Public Outreach Summary

Initial public outreach included a drop-in open house and an online survey. The open house was held at the Fort Collins Senior Center on April 24, 2025 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.  An online survey was also made available on the project website to reach a broader audience and accommodate those who could not attend in person.  The survey remained open from April 24 to May 9, 2025.  Community feedback plays an important role in creating a thoughtful and balanced park design.  However, the final design is also shaped by the project’s budget and site constraints.

Feedback showed that improvements at the playground should prioritize shade, sight lines, nature themes for play equipment, shade integrated into play areas, and picnic space closer to or within the playground.
