Update Oct. 21, 2022: City Manager Kelly DiMartino has named Tyler Marr as Fort Collins’ new Deputy City Manager after a competitive national search.
Marr has been serving as interim Deputy City Manager since May when former Deputy City Manager, Kyle Stannert, accepted the position of City Manager for Bothell, Washington. Prior to the interim Deputy City Manager role, he held a variety of positions within the City including Assistant City Manager, Director of Information and Employee Services, Deputy Director of Information and Employee Services, and Senior Policy and Project Manager.
He will begin in the official role Oct. 31. Read more.
The City of Fort Collins has narrowed its search for a Deputy City Manager to three finalists, who will participate in interviews and selection events with City Council, City staff and community stakeholders the week of Oct. 10, including a community forum.

Selection Process
This position oversees a wide variety of City departments and services. The deputy city manager works with the city manager and City Council on external matters and collaborates with the executive team to implement the City’s strategic plan and manage internal operations. The City enlisted the support of Raftelis to lead the search.

Pam Davis currently serves as an Assistant City Manager for the City of Boulder, Colorado. Before becoming an Assistant City Manager, Pam was a Senior Management Analyst for the City for a year and a half. Prior to her time in the City of Boulder, Colorado, Pam was the Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Goodyear, Arizona and a Management Analyst II and Budget Officer for the City of Sierra Vista, Arizona. She also worked for the City of Fort Collins as a Management Assistant. Pam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts and a Master of Public Administration in Urban Management from Arizona State University.

Tyler Marr currently services as the Interim Deputy City Manager in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado. He has held several positions with the City over the past seven years including Assistant City Manager, the Interim Director of Information and Employee Services, Deputy Director of Information and Employee Services, Senior Policy and Project Manager in the Office of the City Manager, and as a Graduate Management Assistant in the Office of the City Manager. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Colorado State University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Kansas.

Jason Nutt has served in the City of Santa Rosa, California for the past seven years, most recently serving as an Assistant City Manager for the past three years. Prior to his time as an Assistant City Manager Jason was the Acting Director of Recreation and Parks and, overlapping with his time in both roles, he served as the City’s Director of Transportation and Public Works. Prior to his time in Santa Rosa, California, Jason was the Deputy Director of Transportation and Operations for the County of Sonoma, California and the Director of Public Works for the City of Novato, California. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Santa Clara University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in both Civil Engineering and Traffic Engineering.
